Detailed Features

• Send Pager Messages. TAP, IXO, PET Protocol support either direct RS232 or TAPI (PSTN Modem) with multiple message send on single log in (Depends upon whether Pager Base supports multiple messages).
• ASCOM Line Protocol T940SI, direct RS232 only.
• Communications Log.
• Additional serial port for connecting any panel or device that sends review data. A message can be sent to any number of PagerIDs, Mobile Phones or E-mail addresses on any review event received.
• Message success or failure log.
• Receives PagerIDs and messages from AcceptNet(v5.x) or Printer Review from any controller. For any review event, a new message can be sent to any number of PagerIDs.
• Send SMS messages via Telstra's MobileNet Direct Access Service using PSTN Modem. Call us for details of how to connect.
• PSD Messenger has been tested to work with Link Telecommunications Paging Service, Orange paging service and Telstra's Direct Access SMS Service.  Also, direct RS232 connection  to CommTech BasePage system.
• Send E-mail messages triggered by Accept, AcceptNet or Printer Review. SMTP Server must be available.

Important

• We highly recommend that PSD Messenger Pro be installed on the same PC as Cardax FT Server.

• PSD Messenger Pro must be installed on the same PC as AcceptNet Server.

• If interfacing to IP based systems with TAP\PET protocols, then use Lantronix Com Port Re-director.

• ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO SCAN REAL-TIME DATABASE APPLICATIONS SUCH AS OURS - see Support page
